Dyrle Layne Burkett, 57, a resident of Seminole, Fla., passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. A celebration of life was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Stephenson officiating. Burial followed in Providence Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directing arrangements. A gathering of family and friends was held from 9 a.m. until service time. Mr. Burkett was preceded in death by his father, Woody Burkett. Survivors include wife, Gina Burkett, Seminole, Fla.; son, Kevin (Kara) Burkett, Seminole, Fla.; mother, Lois Burkett, Georgiana, Ala.; brother, Dale Burkett, Georgiana, Ala.; and granddaughter, Sarah Grace Burkett, Seminole, Fla.
