The Fort Dale Academy Lady Eagles defeated the Autauga Academy Lady Generals on Thursday night in convincing fashion with a score of 3-0.

Viktoria Little was responsible for a pair of the Lady Eagles’ goals, and a successful penalty kick from Abigail Matthews netted Fort Dale’s third and final goal.

Fort Dale Academy coach Josh Wildermuth said that he was proud of the meaningful developments his Lady Eagles have already made in a relatively short season thus far.

“I was pleased with improvement made in playing techniques, and I thought the tournament last week had helped tremendously,” Wildermuth said.

“This win was a big one for us, and it’s very important.”
