Greenville winning streak continues over Central, Stanhope Elmore

The Greenville varsity girls defeated Central 48-38. Derrica McCall led Central with 17 points. Adrienna Taylor led Greenville led with 14 points.
The Central Lady Lions are 6-6 overall and 3-1 in area play.
And the Greenville varsity boys defeated Central 82-68. Greenville was led by Malik Bunch with 22 points and 10 rebounds while Central was led by Diamonta Johnson with 17 points. Also for Greenville Charles Warren scored 20 points, Tyler Stone scored 16 and Jabez Sims scored 11 points.
Central fell to 9-7 overall and 4-1 in area play, and Greenville is 13-3 overall and 3-0 in area play. Earlier this week, the Tigers also put on a dominating performance with a 73-41 win over Stanhope Elmore.
Charles Warren proved his status as one of Greenville’s most consistent top scorers with a 22-point performance.
The win improved the Tigers to 14-3 overall (and undefeated in area play).
Greenville faced the Luverne Tigers Friday, though results were unavailable at press time.
