Troy Hudson is seeking another term as the District Two board member for the Crenshaw County Board of Education on the Nov. 8 general election ballot.

“I am blessed to have been a part of this school board that has accomplished so many wonderful things for our children across Crenshaw County over the past twelve years,” Hudson said.

“From the creation, retention and recent expansion of the K-4 preschool program and the after-school program, to capital improvement projects highlighted by a state-of-the-art, multi-million-dollar cafeteria, including the renovation of many facilities and upgrade projects that are currently planned as the Crenshaw County School System continues to move forward.”

Hudson is a lifelong resident of Crenshaw County, a 1990 graduate of Brantley High School, and a 1995 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Civil Engineering.

“It is truly rewarding to have played a small part in helping these things happen.  I have also had the opportunity to hear and discuss so many important issues with so many parents and always try my very best to be a good listener and apply prayerful consideration to every decision we make regarding the future of the children of Crenshaw County,” he said.

He is married to Rena Hudson and their two children, Mitchell and Lauren, attend Brantley High School. Hudson serves as the Sunday School Director at Spring Hill South Baptist Church, is a member of the Spring Hill Volunteer Fire Department, and is the President of Southern Engineering Solutions, a civil and environmental engineering consulting firm in Andalusia.

“I humbly ask for the support of the voters of District Two again in the upcoming election. I look forward to serving you again as we move forward with many exciting technology upgrades, arts programs, dual enrollment opportunities and other improvement projects that are already in the works.”
