Mr. James Gregory Brooks of McKenzie, Ala., died on Oct. 4, 2016.  Funeral services was held at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 with Rev. Allen Joyner officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial followed in the Brooks Cemetery.  The family received friends on Thursday evening, Oct. 6 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lisa Brooks; daughter, Vicki Williams (Josh) of Red Level, Ala.; son, John Brooks of McKenzie, Ala.; step-children, Bradley Bush of McKenzie, Ala., Beth McManus (Dusty) of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., Kari Bush of McKenzie, Ala.; parents, James and Patsy Brooks of McKenzie, Ala.; mother-in-law, Betty Stinson of McKenzie, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Tina Brooks Powell, Annette Brooks Merritt, Michelle Brooks Reynolds all of McKenzie, Ala.; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.

Mr. Brooks was a faithful employee at Key Safety Systems in Greenville, Ala.  Pallbearers were Ronnie Powell, Cody Baldwin, Josh Williams, Joe O’Neal, Bradley Bush, Jay Waters, and Ronald Merritt.
