Gladys E. Childs, 94, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016.  Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 at Sunrise Memorial Park with Minister Charles Box officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing.  The family received friends prior to graveside from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home.

Mrs. Childs was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Hardin Childs.  She is survived by her daughter, Linda Batson of Greenville, Ala.; sons, Warren Hardin Childs Jr. (Sheila) of Selma, Ala., and Jerry E. Childs (Betty) of Bay Minette, Ala.; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
