Memorial services for Mrs. Mary France Hale were held on Friday, Aug. 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Pine Top Baptist Church. Rev. Rufus Johnson officiated. Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville, Ala., directed. Mrs. Mary Frances Hale was born April 17, 1930 to the late Lon Ray and Irene Rudolph in Greenville, Ala.

At an early age she joined Pine Top Missionary Baptist Church.

In 1951 she moved to Chicago, returning to Greenville in 1995 and reuniting with her home church, where she served faithfully as the mother of the church and in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mae Graham; son, Alvin Hale; and nine sisters and brothers.

She departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at her residence.

She leaves to cherish her memories her four children, Willa Hale, Stockton, Calif., Minnie Hale, Selena Dennis and Rickie Hale; brother, Lewis Morrison, all of Chicago; 13 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She will always be remembered for willing to help any and everyone and her cooking.
