Dorothy M. Y. Marshall, 86, longtime resident of Butler County, died on Thursday, April 14.  Mrs. Marshall is best remembered for her services to the Butler County School System where she served as a teacher for over 30 years.  Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, Levester Marshall, and son, Kenneth Marshall Sr. Funeral services for Mrs. Marshall will be held on Friday, April 22 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, Georgiana, Ala., where Dr. J.O. Meeks serves as pastor.  Final viewings will be on Thursday, April 21 from noon until 5 p.m. at Georgiana Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to service.
