Mr. Ollie Gray Luckie, 85, resident of Greenville, Ala., passed away April 14 in his home with his family by his side. The family received friends Friday evening, April 15 for visitation from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home. The celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Liberty Baptist Church in Greenville, Alabama at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mike Moses officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing. The church will be open one hour prior to the service for visitation and burial will follow the service at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitt and Leonora Luckie; brother, Kenneth Luckie; and brother and sister-in-law, John and Barbara Luckie. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Davis Luckie of Greenville, Ala.; brother, Otis Luckie and wife, Betty of Wetumpka, Ala.; daughter, Dianna Mixon and husband, Bill of Auburn, Ala.; son, Milton Luckie and wife, Robin of Greenville, Ala.; daughter, Patti Presley, and husband, Mike of Garland, Ala.; grandchildren, William Mixon and wife, Laura of Loxley, Ala., Kimberly Mixon of Mobile, Ala., Garrett Luckie and wife, Mandy of Greenville, Ala., Caleb Luckie of Greenville, Ala., Logan Wood and wife, Caitlin of Greenville, Ala., Wes Presley and wife, Jalyn of Birmingham, Ala., and Ben Presley of Troy, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Liam Mixon, Addison Luckie, Alyssa Luckie and Madison Wood and a host of nieces, nephews,  and cousins. Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Ben Rogers, Tommy Watkins and Ronnie Kuykendall, with the men of Liberty Baptist Church serving as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Luckie was born June 12, 1930. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed working on his farm and tending to his garden.
