The Butler County School System has been recognized by the Alabama School Public Relations Association for its efforts to communicate with parents and the community.
The Alabama School Public Relations Association (ALSPRA) is a statewide coalition of professional school communicators. Members come from various organizations including local school systems, professional state-level education organizations, the Alabama State Department of Education and others. The aim of the ALSPRA is to promote the understanding of the goals, aims, accomplishments and needs of public schools within the state.
The organization recognized the Butler County School System for its website, annual report, handbook and marketing campaign.
“This statewide recognition supports the work we’ve done to communicate well with our parents and community,” said Superintendent Amy Bryan.
“It reaffirms that our activities regarding communications from our five-year strategic plan are getting done, and done well.”
