Spring is right around the corner, bringing warmer temperatures and plentiful outdoor events.
Downtown Greenville will see an especially busy day on March 12, as the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its second annual Camellia City Fest.
Visitors can expect a fun-filled, family-friendly event full of musical entertainment, vendors, arts and crafts, food and beverages.
Festivities begin at 9 a.m. and last until 5 p.m. Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and event organizer Francine Wasden, said there will be something for everyone at this year’s event.
“It’s going to be a day of live outdoor entertainment, kids’ activities, and vendors offering arts and crafts, merchandise, food and fun,” said Wasden.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Caleb Luckie at 11 a.m., followed by classic country music entertainment by Max Conway and the Girl Next Door at 12:30. Guests can expect entertainment from the Dave and Kyle Morning Show from WQZX-Q94 radio station throughout the day.
Wasden said that last year’s event was a huge success and that the chamber is looking forward to another great event this year.
“We had a wonderful turnout at the inaugural event last year,” said Wasden. “We had vendors from all over the state attend the event. From arts and crafts vendors and entertainment, to the activities and great food, it was a huge success.”
