A Butler County couple was arrested on drug trafficking charges after authorities found approximately three ounces of methamphetamine in their home on Manningham Road.
David Scott Gafford, 38, and Jacquelyn Lane Bunton, 28, were each charged with drug trafficking.
Gafford, who is being held on a 236,000 bond, was also charged with probation violation, possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia, second degree.
Bunton was also charged with probation violation, possession of marijuana, second degree, and promoting prison contraband. She’s being held on a $251,000 bond.
Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden said the arrests were made Thursday after the Second Judicial Task Force executed a search warrant on the couple’s home Friday.
“We had an incident over the weekend where we were tipped off that one of the suspects had a firearm that was taken in a burglary,” Harden said. “We were able to get a search warrant and when we searched the house, we found the drugs.”
Both Gafford and Bunton are being held in the Butler County Correctional Facility.
