A visitation for Mr. O’Neal Cartwright, 70, of Milledgeville, who passed away Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Milledgeville.

Mr. Cartwright was a native of Butler County and had made his home in Greenville for most of his life, and had lived in Milledgeville for the past five years.

He was the son of the late Drayford Melvin Cartwright and Nettie Mearl Herring Cartwright. He was employed as a master carpenter and had worked in many jobs throughout his career. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his son, David “Benji” (Paula) Cartwright; daughters, Nattalie Cartwright and Barbara Cartwright all of Milledgeville.; siblings Bettie (Bobby) Reeves of Luverne, AL, Frances (Gary) Basom of Greenville, AL, Bessie Mosley of Brantley, AL, Walter (Annette) Cartwright and Jerry (Cindy) Cartwright of Greenville, AL, and Clarence (Koren) Cartwright of Fowley, AL; grandchildren, Brandon Cartwright, Ashley Cartwright, Terrence Cartwright, Brittney Cartwright, Sherry Cartwright, Benjamin O’neal Cartwright, Alexis Todd and Cayci Todd;

great grandchildren Addison Anderson, Blake Cartwright, Tristan Hartley, Nathaniel Lee Cartwright and Zelia Gardner.
