April Gregory has been named retail advertising coordinator of Greenville Newspapers, LLC.
A Greenville native, Gregory joined Greenville Newspapers in 2012 working in the advertising department as a marketing consultant.
During the past three years she has played a role in leading the advertising department to three consecutive Alabama Press Association Sweepstakes Awards, the highest advertising honor awarded by the organization.
“April has done an outstanding job during her time at the Advocate and has earned this opportunity,” said Greenville Newspapers publisher Tracy Salter. “She does an excellent job working with a top-flight community newspaper staff and, as a Butler County native, she understands the community. She also knows the role and responsibilities of a community newspaper.”
In her new role, Gregory will work directly with the retail advertising department to coordinate day-to-day activities of the department, while continuing to work with area businesses to provide marketing solutions, and assist with retail advertising marketing needs.
“I look forward to continuing and building upon the Advocate’s many partnerships within the local business community, and providing the highest quality advertising campaigns and services that we have to offer,” said Gregory.
Gregory is also active in the Greenville Lions Club, serving as vice president.
She and her husband Pat have four children: Ethan, Courtney, Kaylin and Matthew.
