Mrs. Virginia Inez Worrell Rayborn, 89, a resident of Brantley, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Rayborn was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lessie Worrell; three brothers, John Worrell, Leo Worrell and Luther Worrell; three sisters, Kate Puckett, Jeannie Smoke and Oudia Evans; and two grandsons, Jonathan Rayborn and Paul Spurlin.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Manning Edward Rayborn; four children, Marie (Frank) Spurlin, Shirley (Robert) Peek, Marvin (Carolyn) Rayborn and Johnny (Sharon) Rayborn; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a number of loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, from 1 p.m. until service time.
