Three people were injured in wrecks on Hwy. 331 last Friday.

The first crash occurred at the intersection of Sweetwater Road at around 1:40 p.m. A 2001 Chevrolet Corvette and 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle were involved, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

“The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were injured and transported to Crenshaw County Hospital,” said Corporal Jess Thornton, public information officer for ALEA.

The second crash closed Hwy. 331 for more than an hour. It occurred at around 8:30 p.m. Traffic was still being diverted to Quail Tower Road at 10 p.m.

The incident happened near mile marker 59 and involved a Chevrolet Impala.

“It was a single vehicle crash with the driver injured,” Thornton said.
