Graveside services for Mr. Leon Coleman will be held on Tuesday, June 9 at noon from Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Greenville.

Rev. Wilbert Jenkins will be officiating. Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville will direct.

Coleman, 61, of Harvest, died on Monday June 1, 2015.

Coleman was born on April 30, 1954 to the late Ralph and Annie Coleman in Greenville. At an early age, Coleman gave his life to Christ and remained faithful until his passing. He joined the Army in 1972 to have a wonderful career until retiring in 1995 after 22 years of service.

Coleman leaves to cherish his wife of 23 years, Joan Coleman; his children, Jerry Butler, Latasha Coleman and Lenora Coleman; his grandchildren, Johnathan “Zay” Coleman and Diamond Coleman; his two step daughters, and grandchildren and great grandchildren; his siblings, Ralph Coleman Jr., Lora Fenner and Calvin Coleman Sr.; and a host of family and friends.
