Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under Heaven.”

This famous verse affects us all at some time in our lives.

Recently, the residents and staff at Luverne Health and Rehabilitation, LLC have had the joy of welcoming a new face to their family while saying best wishes to an old friend.

The goodbye came in January. After 22 years in Luverne, Julie Richburg said goodbye to the family she had grown to love throughout her service there.

Richburg leaves Luverne to accept the position of Regional Nurse Consultant for NHS Management, LLC, the management group for Luverne Health and Rehabilitation, LLC.

“This was a hard decision to make, while it’s an honor to be promoted it is so hard to say goodbye to everyone,” Richburg said.

However, she won’t be far away, as she will be overseeing the nursing practices for eight facilities, including Luverne.

Stepping into the Administrator position is Colleen Savage.

Savage was the former Administrator of Georgiana Health and Rehabilitation, LLC where she has worked for the past two years.

Savage is also an eighteen years associate with NHS Management, LLC. She has served in numerous roles from Social Services and Admissions to Financial Specialist until she was promoted to Regional Financial Specialist serving for six years.

Savage is excited to start this new chapter of her life and looks forward to meeting and working with the residents of Luverne.

Savage said she welcomes anyone to stop by the facilities to meet her or take a tour of the building. Her door is always open.
