Maryeve Barrington Peek, age 87, of Dozier passed away on Jan. 15, 2015 at Andalusia Manor.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sun., Jan. 18 in Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eugene Meadows officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at Foreman Funeral Home from 5:30-8 p.m.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Daniel Peek of Flomaton, Warren Peek of Babbie, Gary Lynn and Edith Peek of Pollard, and John M. and Barbara Peek of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and John Joyner of Dozier; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Wilma Barrington of Dalton, Ga., John Frank Barrington of Sun City, Ariz., and Don and Patsy Barrington of Austin, Texas; and sisters and brother-in-law, Jane Krellner of Dunnellon, Fla. and Catherine and Bill Clark of Andalusia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John M. and Janie Barrington, and husband, Robert Gaston Peek.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Liberty Church Cemetery and/or the Dozier Baptist Church Building Fund.
