A Georgiana man has been arrested on nine counts of possession of child pornography.

John Benjamin Norris, 32, turned himself in last Thursday, Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden said.

Harden said the sheriff’s office received information that Norris allegedly had child pornography on his iPad.

“We were able to conduct an investigation and determined he did have child pornography on there,” he said. “This is still under investigation.”

Harden said that more charges could be coming.

Norris is currently being held in the Butler County Corrections Facility under a $90,000 bond.

Additionally, the sheriff’s office has put a hold on Norris as well.
