Luverne High School announces homecoming court

Luverne High School will celebrate homecoming on Oct. 3, 2014. The Class of 2005 will be honored guests for all the day’s activities.
A reception will be held for the returning class at 10 a.m. in the high school auditorium. Formal presentation of the queen and her court will be at 11 a.m. in the gymnasium. A homecoming parade will begin at 1 p.m. Friday night, the Class of 2005 will be special guests at the LHS versus Calhoun football game. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m.
Presiding over the day’s activities is Homecoming Queen Tyreshia Jones. Tyreshia, a senior, is the daughter of Ms. Camesha Moneyham and Tyrell Jones. Members of her royal court are: Senior Attendant Miss Kailand-Ascia Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Timothy Brown; Junior Attendant Miss Ashlynn Odom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Odom; Sophomore Attendant is Miss J’asha Mitchell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tremaine McClain and Mr. and Mrs. Curry Jones; and Freshman Attendant is Miss Chelsey Paige McGough, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Kelly and Mr. and Mrs. Scottie McGough. Scepter bearer is Little Miss Brooke Horn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Horn. Crown bearer is Master Wyatt Pippin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Pippin.
Football sweethearts for 2014 are Miss Abbi Sanders, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Sanders; and Miss Alexus Redmon, daughter of Donnella Willis and the late Weldon June. These young ladies are members of the senior class and were selected by the LHS Football Team. Football spirits are Little Miss Jaelynn Cook, daughter of Miss Julisa Bryant and Master Jayden Laird, son of Miss Regina Laird.
