Annie Ruth Phillips, age 84, a resident of Georgiana, died on Sept. 22.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Bradford officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in Shackleville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents, Henry J. and Annie McNaughton; husband, Eugene Phillips; daughter-in-law, Amanda Phillips; two brothers and three sisters.  She is survived by her sons, Michael Phillips (Carolyn) of Georgiana, and Neal Phillips of Georgiana; grandchildren, Chad Phillips (Cindy) of Greenville, Amy Lewis of Atmore, Ala., Katie Phillips of Greenville, and Kevin Phillips of Georgiana; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Lou Pitts of Mobile, Ala., and Loraine Pierce of Greenville; and many nieces and nephews.
