Greenville native Will Bowman made it back-to-back titles on Friday.
Bowman was named the Southern League’s top visiting clubhouse attendant for the second consecutive year.
Bowman, a graduate of Troy University and former Troy director of baseball operation, recently completed his third season as the Montgomery Biscuits’ visiting clubhouse attendant.
In 2013, the Greenville native snapped a four-year streak of Mississippi Braves’ attendant Destin Smith winning the award, which is voted on by the Southern League’s managers and umpires.
In a news release, the Biscuits praised Bowman.
“His 2014 award comes after even more incredible work at Riverwalk Stadium,” the release said.
“For the last two months of the season, Bowman not only attended to the visiting clubhouse, but he also worked as the home clubhouse attendant. On some occasions, Bowman worked both clubhouses without an assistant.
