A two-vehicle crash in Lowndes County on Saturday night has claimed the lives of a Greenville man and teenager.

According to the Alabama State Troopers, 21-year-old Jeffery Sawyer of Greenville and 13-year-old Zackary Smith of Greenville were killed when the motorcycles they were driving collided.

The accident took place at 10:15 p.m. on Goldsmith Road near White Hall.

According to authorities neither rider was wearing a helmet.

No further information is available at this time as State Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
