Mr. and Mrs. James Lewis Roper of Greenville, Ala., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katherine Brandy Roper, to Thomas Alan Phelps, son of Janis Philen of Greenville, Ala., and Alan James Phelps of Greenville, Ala.

Miss Roper is a 2008 graduate of Greenville High School. She is currently employed at Bright Beginnings School and is a cosmetologist.

Mr. Phelps is a 2009 graduate of Fort Dale Academy and is currently working alongside his dad at Greenville Equipment Center.

The wedding is set for June 28, 2014, at the Greenville-Butler County Public Library Pavilion.
