Dorothy Renon Merritt, 71, a resident of McKenzie, passed away June 1. Graveside services were held on Tuesday at New Home Cemetery with Rev. Clifton Morris officiating. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directed arrangements. Survivors include: husband, David Merritt, Jr., McKenzie; daughter, Lisa (Wade) Monroe, Greenville; son, Randall Merritt, Wetumpka, Ala.; grandchildren, Amanda Monroe and Nicholas Monroe, both of Greenville, and Rob Merritt, Wetumpka, Ala.
