Gale Gibson, 58, a resident of Greenville, died April 7. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, with Rev. Eddie Adams and Rev. Gail Woodruff officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in the Spring Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her father, John Williard Matthews.  She is survived by her husband, Gene Gibson; daughters, Shirley (Howard) Freeland of Sharpsburg, Ga., and Sandra (Jon) Medley of Greenville; grandchildren, Alex Medley, Trey Freeland, Aden Freeland, Drew Freeland, and Kristen Medley; mother, Virginia Matthews Gafford of Lowndesboro, Ala.; sisters; Jane (Morris) Wasden of Spanish Fort, Ala., and Sonya (Eddie) Adams of Albany, Ga.; brother, Johnny Matthews of Greenville; sister-in-law, Carolyn Gibson of Peachtree City, Ga.; nephew, Stephen Matthews of Greenville; nieces, Layla Matthews of Greenville, and Angela (Kenneth) Jones of Peachtree City, Ga.; and special pet, J.J.
