The Second Judicial Drug Task Force seized $600 worth of synthetic marijuana on Friday.
According to Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden, the Task Force executed a search warrant on Lacedric Baugh’s home at 115 Crenshaw Street in Greenville before daylight Friday.
Officers discovered 60 grams of synthetic marijuana and a stolen firearm.
Baugh has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property, third degree.
“The Second Judicial Drug Task Force continues to do a good job of working throughout the county to keep illegal drugs off the street,” said Harden.
Harden also encouraged anyone with information on drugs being sold in the community to contact the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
“The calls can be anonymous,” Harden said.
