Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Investigators have arrested a man for burglarizing CL Berry Store in Glenwood and several vehicles in the vicinity during the snow storm last week.
Investigator Mike Johnson said they arrested 22-year-old Aron Hunter for two counts of breaking and entering a vehicle, three counts of felony theft of property and one county of burglary III.
Johnson said Hunter allegedly stole handguns, knives, a large sum of cigarettes, beer and other items from the store and the vehicles.
“Investigator Ashley Paul and Deputy Jeremy Walker tracked Hunter through the snow,” he said.
Sheriff Charles West commended his deputies for working diligently during the winter storm to find Hunter.
“They worked hard, and I’m proud we have them on our force,” he said.
Hunter is being held in the Crenshaw County Jail on a $300,000 bond.
