UPDATE: CCA closed on Tuesday, County schools in session

According to Crenshaw County Schools Superintendent Randy Wilkes Crenshaw County Schools will observe a normal school day Tuesday and Wednesday despite the frigid temperatures.

Crenshaw Christian Academy will be closed on Tuesday and will re-open Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Temperatures are expected to dip into the low-teens this week, with wind chills making it feel even colder.
A freeze warning remains in effect late Sunday night through Monday morning and a hard freeze warning will be in effect late Monday night through Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service forecasts temperatures can dip as low as 11 to 15 degree Fahrenheit late Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Currently there are no school closings in the county.
Crenshaw Christian Academy is not slated to return until Tuesday anyway, but Administrator Angela Carpenter said officials are waiting to decide about Tuesday and Wednesday.
Crenshaw County Schools are in session Monday, according to officials.
