Frances Alma Bush Davis Rittenour, 92, of Dutch Bend in Lowndes County died Dec. 30 at Camden Nursing Facility. She was born March 21, 1921, to Lelia Alma Dunnam Bush and George Berry Bush of Minter, Ala. Mrs. Rittenour was a member of the Braggs Christian Church. Preceding her in death were her husbands, Joe Bruner Davis and William B. Rittenour, her parents, and two brothers, Robert Neil Bush and Roy Wilson Bush, Sr. Survivors include stepchildren, William B. Rittenour, Jr. (Melissa) of Montgomery, James Broughton Rittenour (Sherry) of Montgomery, and Patricia Rittenour Banks of Birmingham; grandson Trey Banks (Ann); niece, Jeannie Bush Hollinger (Leo) of Camden; nephews, Roy Wilson Bush, Jr. (Ann) of Minter and Jimmy Davis (Lois) of Dutch Bend; four great-granddaughters, Maela, Maggie, Marlee, and Myca Banks. Mrs. Rittenour worked for many years at Hooper Stockyards in Montgomery and in the Probate Judge’s office in Lowndes County. Services were held on Jan. 2 at the Braggs Christian Church with Rev. Elwood Sims and Rev. Jim Free officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home of Camden directing. Burial followed at Carlowville Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jimmy Davis, Jerry Till, Bob Culpepper, Roy Bush, Jr., Bryant Hollinger and Trey Banks.
