Residents in the town of Glenwood have the opportunity to make a little extra cash this weekend, officials said Monday.

City Clerk Sandra Berry said the town will hold a community-wide yard sale beginning at 7 a.m.

“It’s open to all residents, if you wish to participate,” she said.

Berry said the town has held one before, and it was such a pretty time of year.

“This is a good way to get some extra Christmas money,” she said. “We just want to give back to our community.”

Berry said yard sales can be held throughout the town.
