Mrs. Syble Pouncey Farmer, 89, a resident of Greenville, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Crowne Health Care. Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John H. Farmer and a granddaughter, Beth Hollingsworth. The family will receive friends on July 27 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Bradford officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Farmer’s survivors include her three daughters: Henrietta F. Johnson (Douglas) of Ft. Walton, Fla., Christine V. Jordan (Larry) of Panama City, Fla., and Evelyn F. Harden (Kenny) of Greenville; nine grandchildren: Amanda Bollenbach (Doug), John B. Jordan (Kathy), Jennie Rebecca Jordan, Celeste Bradshaw (Chase), Heather Beasley, Larry Benjamin Jordan (Nicole), Kenny Harden Jr., Kristen Hagler (Jason) and Tiffany LeGear (Adam); seven great-grandchildren: Brooke Hollingsworth, Jacob Bollenbach, Alex Bollenbach, Ava Jordan, Lyla Jordan, Karly Beasley, Lanie Hagler and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church of Greenville, and a past Worthy Matron of the Greenville Chapter 197 Order of the Eastern Star in the state of Alabama.
