Sherry Cole Luckie, 61, a resident of Forest Home, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry K. Cole. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Travis Luckie of Forest Home, her mother Christine Green Cole of Eclectic, one daughter, Christy Luckie Cooper (Dale) of Eclectic, one granddaughter, Dalee Lynn Cooper, two double first cousins, Johnny Cole (Janice) and Bobby Cole (Pat) of Greenville; brothers-in-law Robert Luckie (Jean) and Calvin Luckie (Linda); sisters-in-law Georgia Ann Horney, Sara Brown, Jane Burkett (Gwin), Bonnie Tibbs (Ed), Jewell Conway (Max) and Barbara Luckie. She is loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Services were held at Harrison Funeral Home, Greenville, on Friday, May 24, with Harrison Funeral Home Directing. Internment followed at Forest Home Cemetery with Mike Philips and Allen Stephenson officiating. She was a member of Forest Home Baptist Church and the Greenville High School Class of 1969.
