Jesse King Strickland, 80, a resident of Ft. Deposit died Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Graveside services were held Thursday, May 30, at Myrtlewood Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Carlson officiating and Harrison Funeral Home directing. Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife Louise Strickland; sons, Rick, Michael, and David Strickland, all of Ft. Deposit, and Terry Strickland, Killeen, Texas; brothers, Robert Strickland, Montgomery, John Strickland, Georgia, and Roy Strickkland, Millbrook; sister, Lucille Boutwell, Braggs; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
