If you have a little Clark W. Griswold in you, there’s good news.

The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce is holding a Christmas decoration contest.

The contest is open to both businesses and residences inside the Greenville city limits. There is no fee to enter. Anyone interested simply needs to call the Chamber of Commerce and provide the address of the home or business that is being entered into the contest.

“We’re going to send our elves out to look at the lights and pick a winner,” said Francine Wasden, executive director of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce. “We think this is going to be something that is a lot of fun, and we want to recognize people that have really done a good job decorating their houses and businesses.”

The deadline to register is Dec. 11. The winners will be announced Dec. 13.

The Chamber of Commerce will award prizes for first, second and third place.
