Eli and Mandy Poole of Alabaster, Ala., announce the birth of their daughter Kailyn Abigail Poole.

She was born on Aug. 3, at 11:57 a.m. at Shelby Women’s Medical Center. She weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Her paternal grandparents are Rufus and Bonnie Poole.

Her maternal grandparents are John and Wanda Jernigan.
