Annie Bell Faust

Annie Bell Faust of Greenville, Ala., passed away peacefully in Lafayette, La., on the evening of Oct. 29, 2012. She was born on July 4, 1912, in the Antioch community in Alabama and turned 100 this year. For those who loved her she was the sweetest person they had ever known. She led a very long Christian life and was a member for many years of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Greenville, Ala. She was a great example to all, and was loved by many. She has seen more in her life than many of us ever will. There is most definitely a special place in Heaven for her.

Annie Bell was preceded in death by her husband Hilary Everett Faust, her daughter and son-in-law Mavis and Henry Ackerman, her mother Mamie McIntyre, her father Alford Earnest McIntyre, her sister Emilee Gafford, her brother W.A. McIntyre, her sister Louise Falcon, her brother Woodrow McIntyre, her sister Opal McIntyre, her brother Vincent McIntyre, a brother and sister who died at birth, and her grandsons Michael and Johnny Hoke.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Hilda and Bill Moore and Lisa and Jeffrey Touchet; her sister Mary Verrett, her grandchildren Hank and Julie Ackerman, Robert and Sue Ackerman, John and Donna Ackerman, Cathy Holzman and Charles Johnson, Janet and John Kidd, Bill Moore, Jr., Jeff and Beverly Moore, Loretta Hoke, Robert Hoke, Jr., Tommy and Debbie Hoke, Michelle Hoke, Kimberly and Adam Leblanc, and David Hoke; her great-grandchildren Aaron and Ashley Ackerman, Elise Ackerman, Rhonda and Dominic Oaxaca, Bobbi and Tom Costa, Kristi Ackerman, Amy and Tim Gonzales, Sarah and Joseph Szalontay, Amanda Holzman, Amanda Kidd, Daniel Kidd, Marianne and Jeremy Morgan, Jeffrey Moore, Jr., Jackson Moore, Phoebe Hoke, Chloe Hoke, Gabriel Hoke, Savannah Hoke, Johnny Ray Hoke, Jonah Hoke, Robin Hoke, Jordan Hoke, Logan Hoke, Maryanne Sala, Courtney Sala, Issac Sala, Brittney Sala, Michael Scott Walters, Brey Leblanc, Alec Leblanc, Sadie Hoke, Michael Hoke, and several great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 2 at the Harrison Funeral Home in Greenville, Ala. Visitation will be Thursday, November 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
