McKenzie School will close out Class 1A, Region 2 play Friday night with a showdown against Pleasant Home High School at Williams-Vickery Field.
The Tigers (2-6, 2-4 Class 1A, Region 2) enter Friday’s contest on a five-game losing skid – the program’s longest skid since 2005 when it finished the season 0-10.
Pleasant Home (4-4, 4-2 Class 1A, Region 2) comes into Friday’s game on a two-game losing streak of its own. The Eagles have lost three of their last four games with their lone win during that stretch coming on Oct. 5 when they defeated Georgiana School 44-33.
The Eagles do, however, own a 2-1 mark away from home this season with wins over Georgiana and Red Level High School on the road.
McKenzie and Pleasant Home will square off at 7 p.m. Friday.
