Wildcats roar past McKenzie

Florala High School cruised to a 58-14 win over McKenzie School Friday night in Florala.

The loss is the fifth in a row for a McKenzie squad that started the season 2-1. It marks the first time since 2005 that the Tigers have lost five consecutive games.

That season the Tigers finished 0-10.

During their most recent  \five-game skid, the Tigers have allowed 48 points per game, including 126 points in their last two contests.

McKenzie (2-6, 2-4 Class 1A, Region 2) will be back in action next Friday when it plays host to Pleasant Home High School. It will be the final home game of the season for the Tigers.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. At Williams-Vickery Field.
