Put on your costumes and join the fun.
On Oct. 31 the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual Trick or Treat on Commerce Street. Francine Wasden, executive director of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, said the event is an opportunity to bring businesses and residents together and offer a safe environment for trick or treating.
“We will block off the area starting at the train depot all the way to the courthouse,” Wasden said. “The streets will be reserved for businesses and individuals to set up booths or tables to give away candy. It is safe for children and it gives the community a chance to come together and enjoy the excitement of our youth.”
The event will start at 6 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m. in front of City Hall with a special routine featuring the Fort Dale Academy dance team and Sonya’s Dance Studio.
The Chamber is asking that all vehicles be removed from Commerce Street by 5 p.m.
