Funeral services for the late Rev. George Presley were held on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. from Pine Level Baptist Church. Rev. Johnny Sanders, officiated. Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Ala. directed. Rev. Presley leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving wife of 64 years 1 month and 16 days, Mother Essie B. Presley, (four) sons, Bro. Willie George (Sis. Adriene) Presley; Deacon Jeffrey (Missionary Frankie) Presley all of Greenville, Ala.; Deacon Henry Lee (Sis. Debra) Presley, Windsor, Conn.; and Bro. Larry (Sis. Deborah) Presley, High Point, N.C.; (six) daughters, Sis. Wilma J. Williams; Rev. Annie L. (Bro. Albert) Brown; Missionary Venetta (Bro. Marshall) Lewis all of Hartford, Conn.; 1st Lady Margaret (Pastor Willie E.) Scott, Radcliff, Ky.; Sis. Virginia (Bro. Tony) Yarbrough; and Sis. Pamilyn (Bro. Patrick) Turner both of Lakeland, Fla..; son-in-law, Robert Reynolds, Michigan, a dearly and devoted friend whom was loved as a sister, Sis. Irene Paige, Greenville Ala.; brother-in-law, Johnny Roper, Springfield, Mass.;  (4) sisters-in-law, Lizzie Hawes, Bloomfield, Conn.; Helen Loveless, Windsor, Conn.; Lucile Gross, Cleveland, Ohio; Annie Mae Lewis, Jacksonville, N.C.; (41) plus grand children; (66) plus great grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
