Weezie and Keville Larson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 17. The couple was married in 1962 in Greenville and the reception was held in Chapman at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. J. Greeley McGowin, II. They have lived in Mobile since their wedding. To celebrate the occasion, the couple’s family surprised them in Chapman with a celebration of their anniversary in the same house where their reception was held 50 years earlier. Weezie is the former Eloise Catherine Echols and daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Frank Howard Echols. Keville is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Keville Larson.
