Local firefighters complete certification course

A number of local volunteer firefighters were recognized last Saturday with a certificate and a reception after completing VFF 160 certification.
The goal of the VFF 160 course is to increase the training of volunteer firemen through classroom and hands-on instruction.
Several participants also earned a hazardous materials certification.
The class was taught by Les Liller, Tim Warrick and Dale Lawrence of the Greenville Fire Department.
