Update: Due to rain, this youth baseball camp has been rescheduled for the week of June 18.

For the third year in a row, Crenshaw County kids will have an opportunity to get hands-on instruction from local baseball coaches.

The camp will be hosted by Luverne’s Andre Parks and Brantley’s Greg Evans, and will include instruction in hitting, fielding, baserunning and more.  Campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

The camp is open for kids age 6-12, and the cost is $40.  Dates are from June 18-21 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Turner Park in Luverne.

“Last year we had close to 70 kids, and we’re hoping for a good turnout this year,” Parks said.
