The first Haire family reunion, descendants of John Starling Columbus Haire and wives Mary Elizabeth (Mollie) Tindal and Annie Elizabeth Reynolds, was held at the home of Betty and Frank Cardinale of Greenville on May 5. Descendents that attended included: Jonathan and Janet Haire, Oak Ridge, Tenn.; Christine and Dan Magoun, Brownsburg, Ind.; Jane and Darwin Bacon, Erie, Colo.; Illene Thompson, Huntsville, Ala.; John and Barbara Haire and Carolyn Gibbs, Montgomery, Ala.; Frank Cardinale, Malcolm and Jean Thompson, Danny Haire and daughter, Rena Minton all of Greenville.
