Sommer Elizabeth Branning was recently awarded the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association “Tagged for Greatness” Scholarship for academic and leadership excellence at the ACA’s Annual Convention March 31st in Huntsville. Sommer is a senior at Prattville High School and will attend Auburn University where she received a full academic scholarship and will major in biochemistry. She is the granddaughter of Butler County Cattlemen’s Association members, Wendell and Faye Powell.
