The Greenville High School girls’ tennis team earned a third-place finish at the Class 5A sectional tennis tournament.

Ashley Tetter, Elizabeth Dicks, Sara Elizabeth Godwin, Linsey Niehaus, Kendra McNaughton and Carolette Thompson all advanced to the second round of the tournament.

Dicks, Niehaus, McNaughton and Thompson advanced to the finals of the tournament.

The GHS boys’ tennis team earned a fourth-place finish at the Class 5A sectional tennis tournament.

Michael Meyers advanced to the finals of the tournament, while Walker Trawick advanced to the second round. Brett Taylor and Meyers also advanced to the second round of the doubles tournament.
