COMPTON, Mr. Michael Gilmore “ Mike”, 60, a resident of Brantley died Saturday March 10, 2012.

Memorial services will be 2 pm Friday March 16, 2012 at the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Johnson and Rev. Bernie Enzor officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Compton is preceded in death by his father, George G. Compton and his mother, Mary Julia Williamson Compton.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Jerry Stricklin; niece, Robyn (Troy) Brannon; nephew, Randy (Jan) Stricklin; and seven great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1 pm until service time.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Ida Cemetery Fund or to the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Reserve, % First Citizens Bank, Luverne ,AL 36049.
