Lady Tigers cruise past MCHS

A 14-0 run powered Greenville High School to a 29-9 win against Monroe County High School Saturday.
The Lady Tigers fell behind 3-0, but then scored 14-unanswered points en route to an 18-8 halftime lead. Greenville’s defense then held Monroe County to just a single point in the final 16 minutes of play, while the Lady Tigers closed out the game on an 11-0 run to seal the win.
Telesha McDonald and Shakieronnya Rudolph each scored seven points to pace the Lady Tigers’ offense. Jasmine Morris added three points in the win.
Greenville will be back in action Tuesday when it hits the road to take on J.F. Shields. B-Team action starts at 5 p.m. with varsity action to follow.
